Reaction videos are all the rage these days, but this latest one making the rounds online certainly stands above the rest.
Eva was expecting a visit from her son and his wife, both of whom were stationed in Hawaii with the air force, what she wasn’t expecting was the little surprise they brought along with them – their newly adopted daughter! Donny and Miranda brought round little Melissa Faith, also known as Lilly, to meet her grandma for the first time, and decided to capture the footage of Eva’s reaction – as you can guess it was pretty spectacular. The couple didn’t want to reveal to anyone they had finalised the adoption and finally received Lilly, keeping it as a surprise, having been working on the adoption since October 2015.
“We chose not to tell our families due to so many unknowns,” Miranda explains. “We wanted to protect our hearts and theirs. We were taking a huge leap of faith. Once the baby Lily was officially placed with us, to become our daughter, we decided that it was not the type of news to be shared over the phone.”
They managed to keep the secret for an impressive ten days, before making the big reveal to the glee of the newly minted grandmother. It’s a reaction video for the ages, and one that can’t help but put a smile on your face! H/T: WTHR
