Meatball, commonly referred to as Meaty, is a pit-bull mix with a heart of gold and one of the most photogenic faces ever found on a dog. With close to 40,000 followers on Instagram, Meaty has gathered quite the fan base, and after a quick browse through the snaps taken of him it is easy tp see why.
Meaty’s owner Lisa described meeting the smiling dog in a recent essay for Petco, mentioning how when she saw a picture of him on the Facebook page of Fresno Bully Shelter he reminded her of her recently deceased bull dog called Kitty.
That was all she needed to give him the home he deserved, and since arriving Meaty has not stopped smiling, even when the camera is pointed in his direction. This inspired Lisa to set up his very own Instagram account so the world could enjoy his grinning smiles.
