Rabari

For just under 1000 years, this Indian tribe has resided in the deserts of west India and thought to have Iranian roots. They now live mostly in Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Ladahki

These people live in a cold dessert of Northern Jammu and Kashmir. They are primarily a Buddhist district but have rich folklore of their own that predates the Buddhist era.
