A woman in Brazil got to hold her newborn daughter after delivering the baby with a Cesarian in Santa Monica hospital. After awakening the baby and forcing it to draw its first breath, they bring baby Ágata Ribeiro Coêlho towards her mother, Brenda Coêlho de Souza, to see her.
The connection was instant. The baby wrapped her arms around her mother’s face and it even looks like she is kissing her on the cheek! She seems fussy at first, crying out, but otherwise looks great, pink and healthy. Her mother’s close proximity seems to be very soothing for the baby, who is expected to cry it’s little lungs out. Ágata left both the medical staff and her 24-year-old mother in awe with the gesture.
Brenda, who works as an administrative assistant, said: “It was an incredible moment when my daughter hugged me for the first time. Ágata is now three months old and is doing great, every day is a surprise and I love being a mother.
