Kiki’s Bakery Is Real, And Of Course It’s In Japan

Kiki’s Delivery Service is one of the beloved films of the iconic Japanese animation company Studio Ghibli, who are known for producing some of the most critically acclaimed animated films in recent decades, such as Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.

The story of Kiki’s Delivery Service revolves around a young witch in training named Kiki. She works for a bakery and delivers bed with the use of her trusty broomstick and her loyal companion – the talking black cat Jiji.

Well now the famous bakery has a real-life counterpart and can be found in Yufuin Flora Village, situated in south west Japan. You can find all manner of tasty breads and pastries being baked here just like in the anime, with a model of Jiji welcoming visitors at the entrance of the bakery.
