If you’ve ever considered adopting an animal, odds are that you go for the most lovable and the cutest one, right? Well, Otitis is far from that. This sweet 9 year old cat was given up to a shelter after he had to have his ear s and hearing organs removed due to sickness. Deaf and confused, he lived in a shelter for a long time, until an owner who suffered from severe anxiety attacks brought him home as a companion animal.
Both are doing well and they help give each other a good quality of life. They are there for each other when they need a cuddle buddy, and they’ve made some great memories together that help everyone deal with a rough day when they pop up. It just shows you that sometimes all you need is a buddy to help you make your way through the darkness and you can help each other have an enhanced quality of life, much to the relief of both of you. This is one to pass on to friends and family that are in need of some heartwarming stories right about now.
