The Berlin Wall
The Berlin Wall divided the East and West halves of Berlin from 1961 until its demolition in 1989. Fragments of the wall are still intact and the Berlin Wall Trail gives tourists a chance to follow the route of the wall.
Bradenburg Gate
Bradenburg Gate was erected in 1791 as a symbol of peace. Atop the gate is victory goddess riding a chariot. The peaceful tribute has survived World War Two and the Cold War.
Berlin Museum Island
Berlin Museum Island is home to a huge collection of the worlds paragon. Its earliest pieces date back to Mesopotamia. You can practically tour the worlds through the historical artifacts that have found it residence here.
Oktoberfest
The Oktoberfest festival started in 1810 as part of a royal wedding. Here you can find traditional clothing, good food, fresh beer, and great German music.
Allianz Arena
You absolutely cannot visit Germany without taking in a soccer match and there is no place better to do it than the modern Allianz Arena in Munich. Every true soccer fan dreams of this beautiful stadium.
