A Japanese woman has gathered quite the following on social media thanks to her adorable chinchilla Persian cats – she just happens to be the owner of 12!
The self-proclaimed ‘full-time cat mom’ speaks candidly about the daily experience of living with 12 loveable felines, how she came to own so many, and how she doesn’t care about being regarded as a stereotypical cat lady.
“I’m happy, so it doesn’t really matter what other people think about me having this many cats” she explained in an interview with Catster.
It started when we met our first cat, Yuki… We took her home after rescuing her in the middle of the road where we found her dirty and freezing.” After this, she decided to adopt another two Persians, who then went on to give birth to the remaining nine!
Although there will no new additions to her feline family, as all of her cats have since been spayed and neutered.
She also uses a simple yet effective method to get her kitties to pull off so many photogenic poses for her Instagram snaps.
“I wave their favorite feather toy to get their attention and call the names of those who don’t look.”
