Artist Rivka Wilkins and woodworker Jared Davis created this amazing table that capture ocean waves crashing on the shores of a live edge. They used reclaimed walnut wood and layers of resin.
The resin layers intertwining beautifully and create a realistic feeling of the crashing waves against a shore. The table is finished with flat bar steel legs and the remainder of the slab not covered by waves is finished with a durable, all-natural hard wax oil.
Ocean wavetable is not only breathed life into the classic texture of the wood but makes it a one-of-a-kind piece that has its own aesthetic and feels.
