Prague Astronomical Clock: The World’s Oldest Functioning Clock
It is one of the most famous clocks around the world, but it also makes for the third-oldest astronomical clock and the oldest one still in use. The Prague astronomical clock, installed in 1410. The clock mechanism is composed of three main components, namely the astronomical dial producing the position of the sun and moon, a calendar dial representing the months and “the Walk of Apostles”.
