Textured Wool Rugs Bring the Natural Pastures of Argentinian Landscapes Indoors

An artist from Argentina, Alexandra Kehayoglou, makes use of the hand-tufting technique to create a lush green woolen creation that takes her months to finish. Also, the pieces she prepares can be used for multiple purposes such as blankets, rugs or even as a distinctive tapestry, due to which people can have a look and feel of everything natural in their inside world. By making use of earthly tones and fabric that is textured, Kehayoglou manages to create the natural composition of water, mass, and shrubbery so that a stunning creation of rural pastures and lush meadows are recreated.

All the work done by Kehayoglou is inspired by her surroundings and the materials she uses for the rugs are from the waste thread scraps which are collected in Buenos Aires from the carpet factory. She later transforms them into wonderful pieces of art that look surreal and also give you a feeling of blending close to nature. Her pieces of art are always in high demand and you might want to get your hands on it too!
