A Rebellion of Youth – 20 Amazing Black and White Photographs Depict the Early Days of Punk in London, 1976-1978

If you’ve ever wanted to see what early punk looked like from the 70s, this is your chance. Here are some rare youths that were not afraid to show their love for the punk lifestyle, whether they were loud about their choice in fashion, or somewhere in between. The thing to remember is that punk was just starting out during the time these photos were captured so that we could simply see just how passionate people were about the lifestyle. In our day and age now, it’s interesting to see just how these people were perceived in a world that was not accepting of anyone who went against social norms. That would change, of course, but for now, we can see just how they ought to be true to themselves.
