They bring us some joy during days that make us wonder what the point is of living in such a strange and horror-stricken world, even if we don’t want to admit it. For your daily dose and cute and sweet, meet Nicola Congdon, a hen lover who dedicates all of her free time to making sweet little sweaters and jumpers for her hens and chickens.
She spends her time making these colorful little outfits because chickens and hens have a hard time adjusting to normal temperatures and being able to move around in the cold.
She rescues chickens and hens that have been abused in the past and gives them a new and safe life here.
This includes the proper clothing required to enjoy the cold air that exists outside of those tight and bothersome cages of some of the nastiest chicken farms. It’s nice to see that it’s not only the cute and fluffy animals that get some attention in the media. After all, we all love chickens as much as we love cows and horses, so why not give them the same love and attention that horse other animals seem to be getting so often.
