This 8-Year-Old Boy Spent 2 Years Growing His Hair To Make Wigs For Kids With Cancer

If you are looking for a reason to get up and change someone’s life, this story is sure to do so for all sorts of reasons.  First of all,  it involves an 8 year old boy who selfishly grows his hair out for over 2 long years to donate it to a charity that makes wigs for children suffering from cancer.  That’s pretty incredible right off the bat.  Better yet, the hair that he grows out is enough to make up to 3 wigs for these children, so many children and families will be able to benefit from this child’s donation.

The best part is, though it’s certainly hard to pick it with all of the options to choose from, he didn’t let the mean comments of the children at school deter him from his goal.  He stood tall and grew out his hair so that he was able to help these children that are going through so much in their young lives.  It’s pretty incredible to see that someone that young can hold onto a dream for so long and make it become a reality.

After his aunt posted his story online, all sorts of thoughts came rolling in on it, and he quickly became an internet sensation.  It’s great to see that this fantastic young person is able to get the fame that he so obviously deserves for what he has done.

When Thomas Moore saw his mom watching a video on Facebook about a girl who had lost her hair to cancer, he had an idea

The almost 8-eight-year-old decided to start growing his hair out for kids who had lost theirs to chemotherapy

So that’s what he did

For the next two years!

The amount of hair he grew was incredible

By the time he was finished, Thomas had enough hair to make not one, nor two, but three whole wigs!
