If you’ve ever wondered why Alice from Alice in Wonderland looks the way that she does, the actress Kathyrn Beaumont is the reason. Now known as a “Disney Legend”, this young girl was only ten years old when she voiced the iconic Disney character.
What’s more, is that the producers of the cartoon got her model Alice’s motions so that they could make the likeness as similar as possible.
A trooper at the young age of ten, Kathryn enjoyed every minute of the photographing and video shots of her exploring her character.
She went on to be a successful elementary school teacher and she is now immortalized in the original Alice in Wonderland cartoon that shaped so many of the childhoods of today’s adults. A real, feel-good story.
