An artist from Tehran, Iran named Salman Khoshroo uses thick lumps of oil paint and a big palette knife to design portraits and large figures which look like their dripping on the canvas that they’re on. If you were to look at these portraits on a computer screen, you might not realize how big they truly are. Most of Khoshroo’s artistic portraits are many feet tall and were designed with very precise strokes. The portraits are truly a blend of cohesiveness and abstraction. Khoshroo displays his work on Instagram and Facebook. The paintings were also displayed at the 2015 Azad Gallery art show and in 2016 at the Shirin Gallery exhibition.
