See this project, where Rhonda Chase Design, a user of Instructables has used some wire, resign, and glitter to create some of the most wonderful accessories. Although you would think it would be cheap after looking at the materials, when you have a look at it for real, you will be amazed! We were truly impressed with the immense levels of creativity.
These were the materials required for her to get started.
Clear epoxy resin, glitter, Elmer’s glue, Scotch tape, popsicle sticks for mixing and a container to mix in, copper wire (22g or heavier), and earring findings.
The desired shape of the earrings or necklace should be formed using the copper wire. Use your creativity here.
Stick it on a tape and press firmly.
Ensure that there are no gaps between the wire and tape. Seal using glue.
Apply some glitter.
Make any design you wish using glitter.
Press the glitter into the tape.
Prepare epoxy resin and wait till bubbles settle.
Use a Popsicle stick to load wire frames.
Let it dry overnight.
Cut off any excess resin present using scissors.
And your creative masterpiece is ready!
