But how about if you see a guy carefully reading a book about fasting and meanwhile enjoying a large ham and bacon sandwich. He is clearly just informing himself since the fasting process has apparently not begun.

How to catch some attention
Some titles have messages that are so out loud that you don’t even have to bother talking. Just pick that book up, and everybody will just stare at you. A title like “I love dick” cannot pass unnoticed, no matter how hard you try. It has glue for the eyes.
Physical resemblance to the book’s character
In some very weird situations, the reader has some features that look very much alike with the character depicted on the cover. So if they read the book with the cover up, it appears just like is the main character is sitting there and reading the story himself. A real cute situation.
Not so fun when the character is scary
Usually, horror books have scary characters on the cover. So the previous situation can turn into a horror movie scene if you replace your face with the cover of the book.
Too obvious is too much
Probably a hilarious situation is when a black guy is reading a book about “How to be Black”. Isn’t that something scripted in the gene pool? Or it is a metaphor for something else? Perhaps the guy feel strayed from his original roots and want to find his path back.
So if you really like reading books with awkward titles, try using a tablet or an e-reader. These are more intimate and not so obvious. Otherwise, you might be the next victim of these embarrassing situations.
