There are all sorts of creative geniuses out there that make the world a better place. One of the best, however, is the friend named Sarah, of a girl who was in a car crash. Fracturing her T12 vertebrae, Maddie was confined to wearing a back brace so that she could continue having a good quality of life.
She hated it, of course, and her friend – who is a set designer in the theatre – decided to make it look like steampunk armor.
She gets lots of comments on it every day now, and it’s become a fashion statement that everyone can’t stop talking about.
It’s reassuring to see that even in a world where we can get anything online, that people are still humanitarian enough to create something like this for Maddie.
A great fashion statement and a fantastic way to make something fashionable that was just mean for its practical use, Sarah is one of those fantastic souls that we need to see more of these days. The world is a dark enough place, we need people here to make some light and laughter out of it all.
