The popular art of Japan, origami, recently saw an innovative side with Growth, which grows along with other plants, so that it gets accommodated in the soil easily and also has roots that are wider. This was developed by Studio Ayaskan, a studio located in London with the intent to revolutionize the sustainability of plant pots. Bike and Begum Ayaskan, the designers, spoke to Contemporist and told that everything in the nature evolves, adapts, grows, dies and gets reused continuously. However, they wanted to change this and now, it involves production, usage and discarding.
