Stephen Orlando is photographer from Ontario Canada, and he has created a gallery of amazing images that give a visual representation of what the motions of kayaking, canoeing, and swimming look like. To capture these images, he attaches LED lights to the paddles or person –essentially whatever will be making the movements. These are then translated into image form, creating these light paintings. It offers a very strange yet ambient image, looking very much like a real object and not just light capturing movement. The backdrop of water and darkness helps to add a great amount character to the pictures.
