Mirrored Ziggurat Connects the Earth and Sky through Striking Reflections

An artist from Iran named Shirin Abedinirad designed a pyramid with mirrors on the outside in order to capture the beauty of its natural environment and surroundings. The pyramid is called “Mirrored Ziggurat,” which is derived from the ancient Mesopotamia temples that were made to help people connect with their god.

The neat thing about the Mirrored Ziggurat is that it looks different from each angle you view it at. Some angles reflect the land around the environment while other angles show the sky. Abedinirad’s purpose for building this was to help connect people with nature while joining together the modern day world and the ancient world.
