The designs come together using precise lines and dots to conjure amazing detailed tattoos that have a very small amount of ink on the skin.
What makes them so unique is often the cause of a problem for anyone getting these tattoos done, as they heal much faster than other tattoo designs due to the minimal amount used on them. As Marie Terry of Tattoo Artist London’s writes “With the rise of dotwork and linework, these discreet tattoos have become a kind of fashion, in spite of their potential short life as healing and time would make them less visible.”
