Tina Tormanen, a nature photographer based in Finland, has shown the world how Finland transforms into a wonderland in winters due to its sparkling and snowy landscapes under the starry skies with the brilliant Northern Lights. This seasonal phenomenon is captured perfectly by Tina. With such expertise and precision exhibited in each photo in the backdrop of shimmering blues, greens and purples, you will get a glimpse of Wonderland.
Tina has come up with this project to show people how beautiful our planet is. Born in Lapland, Tina moved to Helsinki in 1998 and she started working as a chef while assisting a commercial studio photographer. It was only in 2010 that she discovered her deep passion for nature photography and there was no looking back ever since then.
People who are native to a region take the beauty of the region for granted. Tina spent a while in the South, before realizing how beautiful North is and her passion led her to the right path!
