Local News Site in Iceland Creates Reality Show “Keeping Up with the Kattarshians”

Did you know that Iceland actually has a popular reality television show called “Keeping Up with the Kattarshians?” But no, it is not about a family of beautiful but controversial women like the American version. Instead, this Icelandic show is about 4 kittens that all live under the same roof of a dollhouse. The names of the kittens are Ronja, Briet, Stub, and Guðni. Each kitten has their own distinct personality which makes them fun to watch. Briet is a very determined cat that seizes any opportunity. Guðni likes to tease the other cats and play pranks on them. Ronja is a nice cat but is not afraid to fight if he must. Stub tends to be the leader of the group who is brave and willing to protect his siblings no matter what.

Nutiminn is the local news website in Iceland that produces this show. Their main objective from this show is to make people more aware that stray cats exist out there and to hopefully encourage these people to give any stray cats they come across a nice home. The 4 kittens of the show were originally stray cats discovered in Reykjavik.
