Japanese artist Daisuke Samejima created a series of acrylic paintings called Flatball, which are inspired by his suburban surroundings. He literally forces us to look at these usual suburban surroundings through a different frame. His ultra-realistic style can be mistaken for 360-degree photography, but rest assured: it’s 100% acrylic paint and painstaking attention to detail. But upon closer observation, it becomes clear that it’s the work of acrylic paints and painstaking attention to detail.
