The term was adopted from the German word ‘doppelgänger’ which consists of two substantives ‘doppel’ (double) and ‘gänger’ (walker).
Some people got a chance to meet their look-alikes and even get a doppelganger photo in random places. Surprisingly, they just kinda look similar in so many ways. Although the chances of finding one of your look-alikes are very low, maybe one day you also can find yours.
