This Brazilian craftsman has found an ingenious way of turning useless, discarded tyres into cozy beds for dogs and cats.
Amarildo Silva Filho, 23, has reused more than six thousand discarded tyres of cars and motorcycles littered on the streets of his neighbourhood to make 1500 beds over two years.
Amarildo said: “I am very moved because what used to be trash in the environment now becomes something very useful for animals.”
The resourceful artist, who hails from a middle class in Paraiba in Brazil, and the only breadwinner, was working at a supermarket.
