The elusive Micromelo undatus – otherwise known as the miniature melo – captured on film by Michael Wijaya Ishak has left viewers mesmerised.
With an almost see-through pink shell on its back, the bubble snail glides gracefully across the seabed of the Flores Sea off the coast of Kawula Island, Indonesia.
As Michael’s headlamp shines on the snail, its ghostly skin becomes transparent showing the small snails its sliding over.
