Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam has a rather impressive façade comprising almost 70 Zaan houses stacked together. Designed by Wilfried van Winden, the unique structure comprises various examples of traditional houses, ranging from a notary’s residence to a worker’s cottage. The interiors of the rooms also reflect the culture and history of the Zaan region.
Offering 260 guest rooms, Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam has a unique façade comprising nearly seventy individual traditional Zaan houses.
The execution of four shades of green, the traditional color of the region, blends this modern structure with the historical layout of the town. Winden also used a blue house which is a real eye-catcher with the inspiration from Claude Monet’s work painted at Zaandam in 1871.
