Artist Paints Pop-Culture Characters Into Old Thrift-Store Paintings

One of the best artists around, David Irvine from Gnarled Branch is an illustrator, crafter and a master of creativity. ‘Re-Directed Paintings’ is what David prefers to call his Gothic sculptures on furniture.

The images below illustrate David’s creativity and how he adds life into old and discarded thrift paintings by painting them with a few characters of his own choice. His paintings are later sold similar to the likes of the popular Red Bubble, Society 6 and Etsy.

David Irvine is also available for work on a commission basis and you can follow his official Facebook page to look at his eye-catching artwork and can also order the same from the links provided.
