There are many things that turn into trends based on supply and demand, and pregnancy announcement photos are definitely one of those things. More popular than pregnancy announcement photos are photos of the progression of it through the nine months that make up the time. Always popular are those photos where a mother is seen cradling her belly with a reverent smile on her face. So, imagine if these intimate and sweet photos were copied by men doing the same thing with the same expression, only using their beer bellies? Yes, this really exists and it is something that is starting to really change the way that we look at those kind of photos, for better or for worse. Scanning through the photos yourself, you’ll see that they are equal parts ridiculous and hilarious, making it optimal content for sharing through social media. As these photos gain more popularity, many pregnant mothers out there are looking to change the way that they do their own photo shoots so that they can get back some of the “class” that is lost by this mockery. The rest of the world, though is simply enjoying the entire experience, and the laughs that it brings.
