This is Long Ears, a beast resembling a wolf. It was a legendary creature among the Seminole tribe. The tribe called it Hvcko Capko in their native tongue. Hvcko Capko was known to have the tail of a horse and a disgusting odor. The monster dispersed illnesses and contaminated everyone he came across.

Deer Woman

In the Midwestern variant of the Deer Woman legend, the creature can be seen like an old lady, a nice young woman or the hybrid of a deer and a human. She usually deceives men, making them take a wrong route and forcing them to their death. It should be noted that there are other tribes which depict her as good-hearted being.

The Basket Woman:  Tsonoqua

Tsonoqua or the Basket Woman is also an expert of human flesh. She is a giant beast who abducts humans and put them in her basket, that is why the name. She leaves them in the basket until she is ready to eat them.

Old Man Big Owl

This creature can change its shape, it can either be a man or an owl. He is sufficiently big to carry children. Relatively new incidents involving owl man observance has probably stemmed from this legend of the Big Owl. This legend was usually a way of scaring children.

Stick Indians: The Tsiatko

These malicious creatures live in the woods. As most of the tribes are terribly afraid of them, they don’t even use their actual names in their own languages. Depiction of the Stick Indians change from one tribe to another. The Tsiatko are revengeful and can cause you to lose your path in the forest. They usually ambush children and women.
