This Shelter Takes Dogs Out For ‘Puppuccinos’ To Find Them New Homes

Dogs that are kept in shelters lead pretty miserable lives. Their only hope is that a person will come to the shelter and adopt them. Until then, they have to wait and stay stuck in a cage. But the staff of the Kitsap Humane Society in the state of Washington is trying to give their dogs a good life while they wait.

Molly Clark, a volunteer who works at the Kitsap Humane Society, takes one dog on a trip to Starbucks every Tuesday and lets her drink a Puppuccino, which is basically a tiny cup filled with whipped cream. The best part is the dogs have a chance to get away from the shelter and go for a nice ride in the car.

Molly usually chooses a different dog each time so that they all get a chance to experience this. As for the dogs that stay behind, Molly doesn’t forget about them either. She brings back Puppuccinos to the dogs at the shelter so they can enjoy them too. The Starbucks that Clark goes to has even agreed to post up signs about their favorite dog of the week. This is to help the dogs find somebody that will adopt them.
