Kampung Pelangi is a tiny village located in Indonesia and as of now, it has started looking incredibly amazing due to its wonderful designs and it looks nowhere close to what it used to look previously.
Based in the southern district of Semarang, the Central Java community has spend over $22k and it has transformed itself from what it was commonly known before as, a slum! This project was started by a 54-year-old principal named Slamet Widodo and at least three other towns in the country have taken inspiration from this project; resulting in 232 homes being transformed as masterpieces of art. Now, when you visit the narrow passageways of this area, you can spot creative murals and it gives a different dimension to the entire village.
Ever since the transformation happened, there is a frequent influx of tourists and the atmosphere here is truly mesmerizing.
Also, the investments made for the transformation have started gaining substantial results, as the number of tourists has increased drastically and the local populace is extremely happy with the newfound luck.
