This 16th-century book known as a “poison cabinet” was turned into a secret hideaway for poisonous and medicinal plants. In the book, there are eleven drawers of varying sizes with meticulous labels and each spelling out which plant each drawer contained. The “poison cabinet” was sold on an auction in 2008.
