Specifically, the piece consists of 425 polished pine cubes arranged in a mosaic, which remarkably resembles the Dutch painter’s original work when viewed from afar. However, upon closer inspection, the individual blocks blend seamlessly into an intricately woven wooden tapestry, infused with a diverse range of hues that replicate the painting’s color palette. The artwork is truly captivating, possessing a beauty that is both unique and rare. Recently, this one-of-a-kind piece was sold at an auction.
