It always helps to have a guardian angel, but it’s not very often that we have guardian angels that live in this world, is it? This loyal fan to HGTV’s Flip or Flop noticed a suspicious bump on the neck of the show’s host, Tarek El Moussa. She immediately wrote to the show and let him know that he should get it checked out as it was often a sign of thyroid cancer. Unsurprisingly, she was right and the tumour was removed immediately. Unfortunately, the cancer had already spread to his lymph nodes by that time and he had to go through further treatment that kept him separated from his family and loved ones. It is still unclear if he will recover fully from his cancer, but no one can argue that this loyal fan, a nurse that just happened to have a sweet spot for his show, was watching and took the time to write into the show. She definitely saved his life and, though he still has a battle ahead of him, he had the option to live thanks to her.
The lump on his neck was actually a malignant tumor. El Moussa has thyroid cancer.
Sadly, the cancer had already spread to his lymph nodes.
