Many of you will laugh when you hear the phrase “Size doesn’t matter.” You’d probably disagree. There’s someone that agrees with you. Meet potter Jon Almeda. Jon creates ceramic works with a difference -they are tiny. A ceramic artist from Tacoma, Washington, Jon’s life was changed when he got his hands on a copy of the book “Creating Ceramic Miniatures.” He now specialises in creating pottery that is less than an inch in size. That means that most of his work is small enough to fit on the face of a coin! Don’t let yourself think that that makes it simple though. He has to use special motorized tool to get the requisite detail needed to make these works so perfect. See for yourself!
