A Miniature Landscape of Elephants Carved From the Tip of a Pencil by Cindy Chinn

Cindy Chinn has created a truly amazing work of art that showcases incredible life-like detail of elephants in nature – and it was all done at the end of a pencil!

The Epiphany Elephant Museum in California had recently commissioned a piece of work, which Cindy has titled ‘Elephant Walk’, which she created by carving into a graphite pencil to depict a family of journeying elephants.

She managed to create such intricate carvings using a magnifying lamp and trinocular microscope, which has allowed her to bring to life these amazingly detailed images of elephants and trees on just a pencil.
