A team of PETA field workers discovered a neglected mini horse that was left with no food, shelter, or water. Upon examination, it appeared that the three-foot tall pony had an injured leg and experienced blunt force trauma to the head which was likely caused by other humans. That’s why the horse was initially afraid of the PETA workers because it had nothing but bad experiences with people. The pony even had an eye infection that was left untreated. Fortunately, the pony was rescued from his horrible living conditions and given a new home where he got the rehabilitation he needed to live a good life.
