Mom Turns Her Son’s Hearing Aids Into Superheroes So He Would Feel Cool Wearing Them

Any young child that needs a hearing aid is sometimes at a loss. They can be open to some teasing from their friends at school who are not fully aware of why a young child would need a hearing aid. So when one British mother decided to take the initiative and create funky designs for her sons hearing aid, she was onto a winner. Sarah’s son Freddie has issues with his hearing, and his mother has made cool decorations for the hearing aids that make them personalised for her son. Initially the idea began when her daughter was struggling with hearing aids too. She came up with the idea to dress them up nicely with some nail stickers, and since then has evolved into crazy designs perfect for kids of all ages. She now designs and sends amazingly cool hearing aids to kids across the world.

Ivermee’s friend told her that her daughter hated wearing her aids because they made her feel different

This inspired Sarah to start designing hearing aids to make deaf kids proud of wearing them

“I thought there would be a lot of families struggling with children who don’t want to wear their [hearing devices], and I felt I had to help”

“Knowing children are not just happy to wear their hearing aids and cochlears but that they are proud to show them off makes it all worth while”
