Vibrant Life Of 1970s Harlem By Jack Garofalo

Harlem, one of New York’s iconic neighborhoods, located in the northern section of NYC, was undergoing an existential crisis in the 1970s. To capture the happenings in the place, French photographer Jack Garofalo was sent by Paris Match magazine to cover the events. Garofalo spent six weeks in the summer of 1970 documenting the vibrant life of Harlem.
