Venezuelan architect and illustrator Rafael Araujo draws Golden Ratio illustrations as a beautiful fusion of art with science. He has been drawing illustrations that are all connected by this theme for the past 40 years. While creating his attractive illustrations he uses nothing but a pencil, compass, ruler, and protractor. Now, his illustrations are brought together for an adult coloring book project that seeks to reconnect humans with nature.

Applying the Golden Ratio to his drawings and leaving the construction lines in the final images allows Araujo to create designs that clearly gravitate around this mathematical framework. Each illustration such detailed that Araujo works almost 100 hours to create just a single illustration. With a successful funding campaign underway, Araujo’s coloring book that celebrates this sacred geometric pattern will hopefully be available to a global audience sometime soon. In the meantime, the campaign is still accepting funding on Kickstarter with plenty of perks available to backers.
