People are of the idea that technology is always for the younger lot. However, we have Kimiko Nishimoto to prove everybody wrong – the 89-year-old grandma from Japan who snaps and edits her pictures and has been doing it over the past 17 years. Look at her photos below and you will realize that she is entirely different from the rest of the people.
When she turned 72, she decided to get into photography. Her son was taking classes for a beginner’s course and she enrolled for the course. What she did not realize is that she has a deep passion towards it. That was the moment that she fell in love with photography and started to go on about clicking a variety of photos. She went ahead to have a solo exhibition after a span of 10 years in her home town – Kumamoto and she also has her work exhibited at Tokyo Epson and is known as Asobokane, which means lets play in Japanese. In case you plan to be in Japan between Dec 15 – Jan 18, do visit her exhibition in Tokyo!
