Although we have seen some amazingly creative graffiti before, it is evident that there are more possibilities to a plain wall. Now in multiples of four and you would have a good understanding of the challenges faced by a Chicago-based street artist E. LEE. He brilliantly dealt with the challenge. He makes use of the walls harboring two restaurants in Chicago as an amazing tribute to what he calls “the consummate failure” – a Looney Tunes character, Wile E Coyote.
“It’s so much challenging creating a story-line utilizing two corners with a great distance between them. But am glad I did this Wile E Coyote piece,” He told Street Art News. “My favorite character of all time is the consummate failure. I love him because he knows what he wants and always go for it; for being a creative artist; and for always trying again after failing. He is so much inspired…….and a hell of a painter. A big thanks to Soho House and Threadless for giving me the opportunity.” If you are chanced to visit Chicago, head straight to the Soho House in the West loop, where you would experience the quadriptych graffiti in its full glory.
