For those who are totally in love with those long term relationship stories, this is one that is going to really inspire you. It’s a dog who waited months to be reunited with a person that he decided was going to be his owner. He followed her at random around Buenos Aires when she landed there after her shift as a air flight attendant. He instantly fell in love with her and even when she left, he saw outside her hotel and cried.
Months later, she returned and he was still there – and he remembered her. So, he arranged with a welfare society to make sure he had a home. Rubio ran away, however, and soon enough he was back at the hotel waiting for his real owner. When she returned and discovered what had happened, she finally adopted him and got him home to Germany. He now lives happily with her even though she travels a lot to make sure that he is provided for.
It’s so inspiring to see these kinds of stories because it gives us hope that maybe we can all find happy endings like these in some way or another. Here’s to hoping so, anyway. Rubio and his loving owner, Olivia make a great pair and it’s sweet to see them together, happy as can be in their new life and journey together.
