Dog Who Was Trapped In Barn Gets 35 Pounds Of Fur Cut Off

A dog named Lazarus had been living in a barn stall filled with dirt and feces. In fact, there was so much dirt that it blocked the door to the stall and prevented the dog from getting out of there. The worst part is he had an overgrown fur coat with lots of dirt trapped inside of it. According to a neighbor, the owner of the dog is terminally ill which is why the dog was left there. So the neighbor called a couple of dog groomers to come over and take care of the dog. First, the groomers fed the dog and then dug the dirt away from the stall door so he could be freed from there. After that, they cut off 35 pounds worth of fur from the dog. When that was over with the dog seemed to be much happier. He wasn’t used to people petting him but he got used to it quickly. Lazarus was taken by Big Fluffy Dog Rescue, which is a nonprofit organization and placed into a Virginian foster home where he will wait to be adopted.
