She was out there alone all night ?
It must be terrible to be tied up and left alone somewhere you don’t know in the middle of the night.
Unfortunately, a two-year-old dog was tied up and abandoned right in front of Humane Society of North Texas. The manager Cassie Lackey said: “She had no note, no collar or anything. The rope was wrapped around her neck about six times.” They were pretty sad about the situation: “It hurts our hearts to have seen her just dumped out here like that… But it’s better she was left with us instead of ending up in a field somewhere, or off on the side of the road.”
Even though she was left all alone, the dog was incredibly friendly as she started to get excited to see the staff and wiggled her tail. “She was friendly and so sweet since the very beginning. She will give anyone kisses, whether they like it or not!” said Lackey.
They named this sweet dog Betsy and got her checked to make sure she was healthy. They learned that she had puppies newly weaned and bacterial skin infection. After getting the proper care she needed, Betsy recovered her health.
She was such a friendly, lovely dog that in no time she got to meet her new human friend.
