Colorful Spider Embroideries by Adam Pritchett

An embroidery artist from the countryside of Lake District, England named Adam Pritchett practices a particularly interesting form of art. He stitches together colorful spider shapes onto a canvas. The fabric of the canvas even has big holes in it to signify the spider’s web.

The area where Pritchett lives contains mostly mountains, lakes and forests. These natural country-style surroundings first led him to create botanical embroideries with a minimalist approach to them. He would often embroider vines, flowers, and trees, but then he became interested in tiny insects and their habits. This is what led him to his spider embroideries, which he displays on Instagram and sells on his website.
